Shackelford County Courthouse in Ablany, Texas

This is a painting I have been working on for quite a while. I have painted the Shackelford County Courthouse 8 times before this that were various sizes and view points. This one is approx. 32"x32" and has been a real challenge because of so much detail in this courthouse. This is the only one of these courthouse paintings that I have painted a cloudy sky but I liked the way the colors in the sky complimented the colors of the courthouse. I hope to have this finished by April.

Mike bought me a big floppy dog for Valentine's Day and my kitty decided it was hers. She loved the squshy feel when she kneaded her paws up and down on it.
